I needed a case that was comfortable to hold while reading and this is it. It prevents damage and scratches from daily use.
My only (wierd) issue with this case is that it smelled terrible when i recieved it. I needed to air out the smell for 3 days before i could stand it. Otherwise, it's great.

The only problem with the silicone skin is that it attracts dirt, hair, fur, anything you can think of. It does the job of protecting it and keeping it from slipping. I just wish it was made with a material like the iPhone silicone covers are made with. They are not sticky and so they don't attract junk.
Otherwise it does what it is supposed to do. My fear is that all of the attracted "stuff" could get into the buttons and cause worse wear and tear because it is as though it sits on the carpet with dogs rolling around on it and children getting cookie crumbs all over it...
It isn't bad, but it could be less "attractive" to environmentally expected items of encounter such as dog fur and hair.

This silicone sleeve is great - just what I was looking for. The color is much darker than the picture appeared; it's more a fuschia than light pink, but no matter to me. Great item.

I love the silicone material, it is durable and I have no concern that it will last... Unfortunately, the skin covers the many function buttons on the sides of the kindle (page forward, page back, home, menu, etc...) the manufacturer has attempted to put raised words in the skin that mimic these labels...but they are barely noticable if you are struggling to look for them. I have found this feature a burden! It is easy to remember which is the forward and back button, but if you want to do anything other than the most common two buttons, it is necessary to lift the skin (stretching it) to read the words beneath it! So, the skin is manufactured well and it is doing a fine job of protecting my kindle...but it has made a VERY EASY TO USE DEVICE difficult to navigate. I plan to purchase a different case/cover.

This was very easy to put on. I wish it was a little tighter but other than that I love it.
