This is exactly what I wanted to charge my iphone at night, have a wake-up alarm and listen to music on my iphone or ipods. Unfortunately, it can't keep time! It has been gaining 1 minute a week. It is driving me crazy. Not only is the time incorrect, I don't even know by how many minutes since it is changing.
Perhaps my unit is uniquely defective, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
I am trying to return it, though it is past Amazon's return date.

I have a protective silicon cover on my iPhone and it makes this device useless unless I take the cover off everytime I want to use dock it. Taking the cover off and putting it back on decreases it's usefulness. Considering the amount of money I invested in getting an iPhone and it's protection vs. this docking station I'll skip the docking. Overall I have to advice against this product if you have a cover on your iPhone. If not, go ahead and try it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this clock radio.
Pro's :
The gradually ascending volume for alarms is fantastic. No more being jarred awake by a loud buzzer or music. You can also set the max volume for each alarm(music or beep) to a level that suits your taste.
Sound is very good for a clock radio and for its size.
Great looks. Compliments an iphone very well.
The iphone/ipod docks in a very secure position, with back support and is protected against being accidentally knocked out of its cradle. You can easily use the iphone/ipod while docked to change playlists, run your favorite ambiance sound app or other applications, etc.
The LED display is easy on the eyes, albeit a little bit crowded, but you get use to it. Easy to read and it won't light up the room at night like some LED displays will do.
Cons:
Button placement. The volume and prev/next track buttons are small and packed rather tight. The music on/off button on the side is also poorly placed. But I do like the size and positions of the snooze and alarm on/off buttons.
To summarize, if your are primarily looking for an external speaker system with alarm clock features secondary, there may be better alternatives. If the primary usage is to be a alarm clock with iphone music secondary, I believe this is the best product on the market at present.

Really good deal for the money. The sound quality is really good, the alarm has some cool features, and it charges my Ipod.
