Amen for this product! It has saved our butts on countless long road trips, plane rides, or just going to BBQ's or the such where there just isn't very much "kid friendly" things to do. I have played it 4 hours straight & it failed to run out of battery life. It is loud enough to listen to outside amongst chatter or just other outdoor noise. & I love the fact the screen swivels...this has deterred little peoples from wanting to push the buttons while watching it.

This player is awesome!!! We bought for our son, who hates riding in the car. We have had it for over a year and a half & it has been great!!! I even accidentally dropped it a couple of times and it still worked just fine. The battery lasts for over three hours even after having it for so long. It is light, & fits right in my diaper bag!!! I love how you could turn the screen so that my little guy can't touch the buttons. All in all, this is a wonderful product & I would highly reccomend it!!!

I've purchased several of these portable players lately for me, my wife and some frends, because we serve as volunteers teaching deaf people, and portable DVD players are a usefull tool in this field. So I can say this LG is one of the best I`ve seen and I specially like the USB feature since it makes it easy to load pictures. The only thing I dont like that much is the external battery. I like most the ones with the battery inside.

We got this for my daughter, she is 2 years old, and movies are one of the few things which make her stop crying.
The audio and image quality is good.
Cons:
1. It does not recharge when playing... and 4 hours autonomy may not be enough on a long trip.
2. The recharger does not work with European voltage, so you need to use the provided car adapter or buy a new recharger for 220V.
Pros:
1. Easy to make it region free and watch any dvd from any country.
2. My daughter has not damaged it... yet

I bought this product (new) in January so that my toddler could watch DVD's for an upcoming flight we were taking. I tested the machine out at home and it worked perfectly- no problems. The player worked great on our trip and the battery held a charge for about 2.5 hours.
We've only been able to use this machine twice... I went to charge it up so that we could use it for another flight and it won't play. We aren't getting an error message, the disc is spinning- for some reason the player isn't reading any of th discs we play. (all of which it played before without a problem)
I am going to call and see if they will replace it. If not, then we will not be purchasing another LG brand DVD player. I am really bummed out that we really only got one use (one round-trip plane flight) out of it. I was expecting much more.
