I picked up a few 4 packs of these batteries right before Circuit City closed and have loved them ever since.
I purchased this package along with the La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger as I wanted a charger that would prolong the life of the batteries.
To be honest, I have not used the included charger in this pack or the C and D battery adapters. I considered them a bonus to the 8 AAs and the 2 AAAs that are included in this package.
When you consider that a 4 pack of these batteries are going for around $11-12 most everywhere, this set is a really good deal!
I find the Eneloops hold their charge very well and have saved me money over the last couple of years.
I don't buy regular AAs or AAAs any more. Rechargeable batteries have finally gotten to a point that they're actually useful and worth the time and investment.

I recently bought these Eneloop Batteries to power my Canon 580ex Speedlite flash. I would usually go through batteries like nothing but not in till the Eneloops came along. I use my flash probably about every other day on 1/2 and 1/4 manual mode. Have yet to charge the batteries and am very pleased with the recycle time on my Speedlite. If your a photographer buy these batteries, they will change your life.

While I read the reviews for this product, I admit to being skeptical as rechargeable batteries in the past have not lived up to the hype. I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised in these batteries and the charge they hold. I primarily use them in a golf gps that went through a pair of alkaline batteries every round. The Eneloops have lasted through 3 rounds, and that is better than what my playing partners are experiencing with their gps. I haven't used them in my camera yet, but anticipate it will be the same sort of performance.

I just received this package and the C and D battery cells are hollow, must mean that you can charge your AA and AAA in other compatible C and D chargers. I thought that I was getting rechargeable AA AAA C and Ds, but that is not the fact, so pay attention to their fine details you don't get rechargeable Cs or Ds, just adapters to put your AA or AAA into if you already have a C or D rechargeable unit!

I bought this as a gift for my cousin who loves gadgets, especially things that require batteries. The adapters for the C and D size are a great idea.
