"Great Product!" 2010-04-18
By Susan B. Slinkman (Elmhurst, IL United States)
I bought these for my husband since he loves to watch spy and war movies early on Saturday mornings and always used to wake me up with all the shooting and screaming. Now he wears these headphones and we are both very happy!!! He can hear better without having to turn the volume way up and I can sleep :) The range is great, if you adjust the volume (which was very easy) there is no static at all. One of the best purchases I have made in a long time!

"No longer works" 2010-04-14
By J. R. May
Got this for my husband since he keeps the TV on all night. However less than a month later it no longer works. I failed to keep the box. You need to stay right in front of the reciever and can't turn your head while using the unit. Not a great buy.

"Good product, with some design flaws.." 2010-04-10
By Ravi D. Rao (CA)
First - as advertised, it does its job if you are watching TV while sitting right in the front. If you move out of angle even a little beyond 30 degrees, you lose the signal (especially as the cord from the base/transmitter to the back of the TV is short, so you cannot place it at a place that may be more accessible). The range is ~15 feet (not 25ft). Sound quality is good (not excellent). Head phones are flimsy, but light, so they don't weigh your head down. The main problem I see (and I am surprised Sony did not figure this out) is that if the base is plugged into the TV, the TV's sound doesnt come on at all. What this means is that I need to disconnect the base from the TV jack each time I am done. I wish they had some kind of a switch on the base to turn on/off the connection to the TV. This really irritates me as the cord is short, and the base has to be right next to the TV, so I have reach up to get to it each time. Overall, it is decent value for money.

"Dissappointed" 2010-04-09

Lightweight so they need constant adjusting. Should have purchased a better brand. Can't keep them in the correct adjustment.
